Indian Davis Cup player, Mr. Zeeshan Ali's visit at Dharav High School
‘A single interaction can change a person’s life forever’
Creating opportunities for meaningful and sustained social interactions with eminent personalities is a part of the curriculum at Dharav High School as they play a critical role in the cognitive development of children.
The students got the privilege to interact with former Indian Davis Cup player, Mr. Zeeshan Ali who played the Davis Cup for India from 1987 to 1994. Currently, the National and Davis Cup Coach of India, Mr Ali is also the Director of Tennis at the National Tennis Centre in Delhi.
During his interaction with the students, he gave tips on learning to balance sports and academics. He laid emphasis on discipline, dedication, and determination to become a sportsperson. His mantra to success is diligence, patience, and consistency. During the interactive session, he encouraged and motivated students to participate in sports.
