Dharav High School in Vidyadhar Nagar, Jaipur, was infused with vibrant cultural energy during the morning assembly led by the enthusiastic students of Class 6. The assembly focused on the theme ‘Our Heritage, Our Responsibility: Embracing Tolerance,’ emphasizing the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and fostering a spirit of tolerance.
The sixth graders captivated the audience with a thought-provoking speech on preserving our heritage, followed by a lively performance of a traditional Rajasthani folk song. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, they showcased their energy and musical talent. The students also shared school news, highlighting the achievements of Dharavites.
The Principal, Ms. Ritu Sharma, praised the students for their efforts and emphasized the importance of taking pride in India’s heritage. She encouraged students to live with love, understanding and respect, highlighting the need for tolerance in today’s world. She stressed the importance of balancing the preservation of cultural heritage with embracing the best technologies from the West rather than mindlessly westernizing.
