"The triumph of light over darkness is a metaphor for our path to success". Diwali, the Festival of Lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of classes 3 to 5 in their classrooms. The celebration aimed to foster a sense of community and cultural appreciation among students. This event focused on decorating thalis (decorative plates), painting diyas (oil lamps), and making beautiful bandhanwars (door hangings) to enhance the festive spirit in our homes. Students of class 3 decorated a clay diya (oil lamp) using paints, glitter, and other embellishments. This activity not only fostered creativity but also highlighted the significance of light in dispelling darkness. Students of class 4 decorated puja thali, showcasing their creativity with vibrant colors and intricate designs. Children of class 5 created a beautiful bandhanwar to adorn their entrance by weaving flowers and embellishments into a stunning piece to welcome guests and spreads festive cheer. Students brought traditional sweets and snacks. Dishes like ladoos and barfis, were shared, allowing everyone to experience the diverse culinary delights associated with Diwali. The Diwali celebration in our classrooms was a memorable event that not only educated students about the festival but also strengthened bonds among classmates. The joyous spirit of Diwali was evident through the decorations, food, and shared laughter.
