Dharav High School, Jaipur celebrated “Guthli-The Source of Green,” an event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote conservation efforts to protect our planet on Saturday, August 24, 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The event commenced with an energetic Zumba session, where everyone participated with so much of enthusiasm. Students wore animal masks to symbolize the importance of wildlife protection.It was followed by a Fancy Dress by the students of class 2 where they creatively showcased the theme 'Save Earth.'
A powerful and thrilling Nukkad Natak, performed by the super talented mothers of little ones,which effectively communicated the urgency of saving the Earth and protecting nature. A mesmerizing dance performance by the teachers, titled Na Kaato Mujhe.....which captivated the audience and reinforced the event's message of environmental preservation.
In Sow and Grow activity little ones had sowed different types of seeds.
The Plant Exchange activity was conducted, where everyone had given one plant and in exchange taken one plant. Parents wrote wonderful messages on each planter to encourage everyone to plant more trees and to take care of them.
Our officiating Vice Principal Ms Anuradha Maheshwari conveyed a strong message to one and all about the little things we all can do to take care of our Mother Earth.
Overall, this event was a great success in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living among all. The activities were not only informative but also engaging and fun. Everyone learnt about the importance of environmental conservation and were inspired to make a positive impact on the environment.
