The ‘Green Day’ and ‘Sow & Grow’ activity held on 25th & 26th July 2024 for Pre-nursery to class 2. It was a vibrant event, with children arriving in green attire and bringing various green-colored items. Teachers used these items to explain the concept of the color green and its significance in nature.
The session highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and green environment. Principal Ms. Seema Sehajpal's planting of two large trees emphasized this message, leaving a positive impact on the young students.
For Classes 1 and 2, the Sow and Grow activity spanned two days. On the first day, students crafted items representing different parts of plants and the steps to grow them, enhancing their understanding through creative expression.
The second day involved practical gardening, where students planted seeds of various plants like Marigold, Petunia, Sadabahar, Potatoes, Ginger, Methi, Pudina, and Tulsi. These activities fostered a deep appreciation for nature and environmental conservation among the children, making the event both educational and enjoyable.
