A Fire Safety workshop organized at Dharav High School on March 2, 2024, stands as a commendable initiative orchestrated specifically for educators. Led by experts Mr. Rishi Meena and Mr. Gajendra Pipaliwali, the workshop successfully achieved its primary goal of enhancing the general awareness of fire safety among teachers. The session provided invaluable insights into essential techniques and measures to be taken in the event of a fire emergency, elucidating the meaning of FIRE – Find relevant information, Initiate rescue efforts, React promptly, and Extinguish the fire using appropriate methods. The comprehensive coverage extended to different types of fire extinguishers and their specific applications, ranging from Water Type for ordinary combustibles to Carbon Dioxide Extinguishers for electrical fires. The live demonstration conducted by Mr. Prashant further enriched the learning experience, enabling the active
engagement in practical fire prevention strategies. Overall, the initiative was a resounding success, fostering a community of educators well-versed in fire safety measures and ready to contribute to the well-being of their students and colleagues.
