The students of Dharav High School attended the screening of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi’s 7th edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' held at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, ITPO, New Delhi. The senior students of grades IX To XII expressed their pleasure at the encouraging words of the Prime Minister who believes in reducing the stress of examination and increasing the quality of education received for life time.
Nearly, 2.6 crore students, parents, and teachers were part of this mega event. Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the larger movement - 'Exam Warriors' - led by Prime Minister to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters The session began with a song performed by students of Kendriya Vidhyalaya Sangathan, Delhi. It was an interactive and informative session where the honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi addressed queries and concerns of students from all over the country as well as the guest students from Oman. The Prime Minister discussed areas related to stress, peer pressure, unhealthy competition with peer and siblings, mental and physical health, parental pressure and ill effects of social media.
Prime Minister advised students to be aware about their passion and future goals to become successful in the life. Students should communicate with teachers, parents, friends about their problems and challenges they are facing in their life. He stressed upon communication with elders or teachers to fight their depression, examination stress. PM Modi also advised parents to avoid comparison, cautioned on using children's report card as status symbol. Parents should not compare children rather identify their areas of interest and promote them.He ended the session with best wishes to all the stakeholders for the upcoming exams.
