Plantation drive aligned with 'CBSE - One Child, One Plant Campaign.'

The Independence Day celebration at Dharav High School, Jaipur, took on a vibrant shade of green this year with an impactful plantation drive aligned with the 'CBSE - One Child, One Plant Campaign.' Organized by the dedicated members of the Eco Club, the event beautifully merged the spirit of patriotism with a resolute commitment to environmental conservation. The enthusiastic participation of students from classes 3 to 12 greatly contributed to the event's success. Their willingness to get their hands covered in sand showcased a genuine desire to create a positive environmental consciousness.
Such campaigns gain deeper significance when the message of environmental conservation extends beyond the school boundaries. A movement truly takes root when the public embraces it as their own cause. Notably, Mr. Lokesh Sharma, an environmentally conscious resident of Jaipur, wholeheartedly contributed to the cause by donating 42 plants for the school's plantation drive. Ms. Seema Sehajpal, the school Principal, expressed her appreciation for his generous gesture, emphasizing that such actions leave indelible imprints on the hearts of our students.
Beyond the mere act of planting, this event sowed the seeds of awareness and responsibility. These seeds will grow as students nurture their saplings, strengthening their connection to the environment.
