“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.”
– Robert Louis Stevenson
Green Colour Day Activity was organized on 21st July, 23 at DHS for the students of classes Pre-Nursery to Prep. DHS Principal, ma’am Seema Sehajpal was there to encourage and cheer for the little learners.
All the pre-primary children came in green casuals and happily planted seeds of beautiful flowers like petunias, zinnias, gaillardias and periwinkle in the school garden. After ensuring the newly planted seeds were well watered, the children came back to their respective classes to make some beautiful artwork with sponge dabbing and hand printing. Along with their teachers, they also enjoyed colouring slogans and painting stones. Each class was made to learn a different rhyme on sowing and growing. The little Dharavites were thrilled to receive fun frog head gears and caterpillars as a reminder to always care for and celebrate mother nature.
