An educational trip is a journey that ignites curiosity, sparks inspiration, and fuels a thirst for knowledge.
In the world of experiential education, to enable the students to travel, explore, and learn beyond textbooks, Dharav High School organized a seven-day educational trip to Chail, Shimla, and Chandigarh for the students of grades IX to XII. Students enjoyed nature walks, treks, and thrilling activities like bridge crossing and rope climbing in Chail. A night trek in the jungle and a meditation session added a unique touch. In Shimla, students explored the bustling Mall Road, experienced local handicrafts, and appreciated the colonial architecture.
Chandigarh offered visits to the renowned Rock Garden, giving an insight into recycling and environmental conservation, and Sukhna Lake for outdoor activities.
The Principal, Ms. Seema Sehajpal, appreciated the students' enthusiasm for learning and their preference for visiting book shops during the trip. Some students even found time to study Mathematics and clarify their doubts.
Overall, the trip was a memorable experience for the students, as it provided them with opportunities to develop a holistic approach to education and imbibe practical knowledge and cultural understanding.
