As the nation looks forward to celebrating its 74th anniversary of the enforcement of its Constitution, there was an air of excitement coupled with patriotism as the children of classes Pre-Nursery to II of Dharav High School geared up to present the Republic Day Special Assembly.

It was an occasion to celebrate the desire of a huge nation wanting to be governed through one single constitution giving another example of India’s unity in diversity.

The assembly began with a prayer, followed by a special thought, recitation, speech on the significance of our constitution and our national symbols. An energetic dance was then presented on a medley of patriotic songs and the assembly ended with the principal addressing the gathering.
The assembly held everyone captive, stirring a wave of patriotism.
