Dharav High School's participation in The History Festival themed Phad se Parh at the City Palace, proved extremely fruitful for the valuable experiences that the students gathered not only by direct participation but also being audience to the programmes from December 13 to 16, 2022, where more than 30 schools from Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana took part.
The 5-by-30 feet Phad painting made by the school, added with the song specially composed to be sung with the presentation achieved wrapped attention of the audience and high praise from the organisers. The school presented a Kathak dance performance on Ganesh Vandana on the second day and Kalbeliya dance on the concluding day. The mesmerising performances attracted high applause.
The Phad se Parh initiative is to integrate art into learning along with the experiential learning that the school has initiated in the curriculum.
